totally got me hooked on one of her favourite animes Witch Hunter Robin. I'm not really one for series or anime for that matter, but I really like this one. I love Robin so much I decided to draw her. When I was almost finished drawing Robin, Amon managed to sneak his way in. He is sketchy and cut off on purpose because that's sort of how he fit into Robin's life in the first few episodes, which is when I was drawing it.
Iris, I know you love Amon, but I still think he's a useless dweeb.
ok, first of all, your style is amazing! and I respect the fact that you don't try and mimic the series but portray it in your own! everyone just copies existing pictures and styles, so it's never anything new, but this is fantastic because it's ORIGINAL! And your style in itself is fabulous! there's always alot of movement, i always think "still water" for some reason.
The attention to detail (like seems and clothing) is just awesome, Gill! and the drapery (and all other textures) are spot-on amazing!
The high light/shade contrast is wicked awesome, and i must goober over amon now. the "shady" aspect really works, and drives the point home! and of course, the perspectives on the humans is plotz-me-why-can't-i-draw-like-that-perf ect!
just so you know, i was so excited i had to run the comment in spell-check, it was that bad.
i'm printing this on gloss paper and sticking it up.... wallpaper at the lab!
Well, I know someone is going to have a field day with this image. Oh wait, she already has!
I love the way you do clothes... goddamit, I love the way you do it. You even draw in the seems. MAN I'm savin' this for ref!

Thank you. Your comment made up for all the other people who didn't comment on this. I worked so hard on it too!!!!
I am actually working on another on as we speak. I guess I really should just be drawing these for you then. Oh, I'll have some really nice 'private' ones for you this weekend. You can put them up in your room. Or on your fridge.
Beautifully done! I love the expression on her face, and the colouring is just fantastic! I've never seen the series, but I really like what you've done with this either way n_n
*sigh* i wish i could draw half as good as you, i feel like my art is crap, like i can't draw anything realistically, or even interpretivly. all i do is the chibi.. and it's not even really a chibi, its juts a cartoony cute thing....
Ok, I know you're just writing this now because you're out of my reach. But I will punch you as soon as I see you again. You KNOW that everything you just said is a) crap and b) totally ignoring everything I've ever told you. You really are the bitch of the family.
I love your art work. As I've said before, it's full of life and emotion, which is loads more than I can say for most people. Don't let technical goodness fool you. Plus, I love your 'chibis' and I agree, they're not really chibis. They're something of your own! And that's special! I will still kill you next time we meet
